The Washington Monument in Washington D.C.
If you ever thought the monument was spectacular in the day time, it's breathtaking to be seen at night. And excpecially on July 1, 2023. During that day those steps were full of people. Everyone was there for one reason, respect.
No one left as it got dark, the attmosphere seamed serene and excitied, both at the same time. Everyone was enjoying being with family and friends. If looking for a travel destination in the US and a little history, this beautiful town is full of it with both daytime and night time events for the family.
The monument is 555 feet and 5 1/8 inches tall. It is 55 feet wide at the base. The Washington Monument, was designed by Robert Mills and eventually completed by Thomas Casey, It honors and memorializes George Washington at the center of the nation's capital. The structure was completed in two phases of construction, one private (1848-1854) and one public (1876-1884).

These days there are many types of cruises. Some are oriented towards family's with all the family amenities, even child care. Then there your more adult friendly cruise lines. With fine dinning and spa treatments. It's all in what your seeing as your dream vacation and there is the in between. something for adults, children and YES, even the teens. Everyone will be happy. Or there are many state parks across the US that have set routes for you to travel, for your safety. Image how you're going to get to your destination? The adventure doesn't have to start there. Have you ever taken a train? If you'd rather drive to your homebase destination, instead of renting a car, we can look into a jeep or a convertible.

I worked for a company for almost 20 years. I called it a career, in the end, I realized that still just made me an employee. As I was cleaning out my work binder and computer bag, I found this. I'd received it in 2012, and placed it in my bag. Never gave it a thought of its TRUE meaning. As it turns out someone knew something long before I did.
I'm a wife, mother and a grandmother. I guess you can say.. I'm a small town girl with big dreams. I still live in the area that I went to high school in. I root for our college football team. And I love it here. But, I'm no longer tied to the docks. I love the my career. I not only get to talk about travel, book the travel, but I actually get to travel. My goal is to be able to personalize vacations to meet an individuals wants, along with their budget. I specialize in Hawaiian travel with its different excursions and destinations and some cruise lines.
